Withdrawal Policy

Innovations in Plant and Environmental Sciences Research (IPESR)

IPESR expects authors to submit manuscripts only when they are fully prepared for the peer review and publication process. However, in exceptional circumstances, authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript. To maintain ethical publishing practices, the following withdrawal procedure must be strictly followed.

1. Request for Withdrawal

If authors wish to withdraw their manuscript at any stage of processing (before acceptance), they must:

  1. Send a formal email to the IPESR Editorial Office stating the reason for withdrawal.
  2. Upon receiving the request, the Editorial Office will provide an official Manuscript Withdrawal Form.
  3. The form must be signed by all authors listed on the manuscript.
  4. The fully completed and hand-signed form must be scanned and submitted via email.
    • Electronic or digital signatures are not accepted.

2. Confirmation of Withdrawal

A manuscript is considered officially withdrawn only after:

  • The Editorial Office reviews the completed withdrawal form
  • The journal issues an official withdrawal confirmation letter to the corresponding author

Until this confirmation is issued, the manuscript remains under active consideration by IPESR.

3. Ethical Considerations

Submitting a manuscript to another journal before official withdrawal approval constitutes:

  • Ethical misconduct
  • A violation of publishing protocols

Such actions may result in:

  • Rejection of the manuscript
  • Notification to the authors’ institution
  • Restrictions on future submissions to IPESR

4. Important Note

No manuscript may be reused, submitted elsewhere, or publicly shared until authors receive written confirmation of withdrawal from the IPESR Editorial Office.
